Trees, lights, parades, decorations, and lots of food and gifts are what December brings to us all, along with compassion, love, and giving, open hearts. I am always amazed at the giving spirit that comes out this time of year. Last month I had the pleasure of being part of a large group putting together care packages for the troops. This event is held yearly in Fredericksburg, VA, and coordinated by the local chapter of the Blue Star Mothers.
